Nobel Prize Albert Fert in nanoGUNE

Albert Fert (Unité Mixte de Physique NRS/Thales) Nobel Prize in Physics for the discovery of the giant magnetoresistance effect, visited CIC nanoGUNE’s facilities and discussed about present and future collaborations.

During the visit he discussed Research Director Andreas Berger and with Nanodevices group leader Luis Hueso about present and future collaborations. Afterwards, Professor Fert gave a seminar on “Spin transfer, generation of microwaves by spin transfer, synchronization of spin transfer oscillators”.
