Master Thesis at nanoGUNE
14/07/11
The Nanoscience Cooperative Research Centre nanoGUNE Consolider, located at the Ibaeta Campus of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Donostia – San Sebastián, offers Master-Thesis Projects for Master students in related areas (nanotechnology, materials science, physics, chemistry, biology, etc.).
Eligible candidates must be registered master students at the UPV/EHU or at other European Universities. NanoGUNE offers Master students the possibility to develop their Master Thesis within one of the following topics:
- MAG1: Magneto-optical activity of nanostructures (p.vavassori@nanogune.eu)
- MAG2: Magneto-Optical Characterization of Anisotropic Materials (a.berger@nanogune.eu)
- SA1: Electrospinning (a.bittner@nanogune.eu)
- SA2: Nanowires (a.bittner@nanogune.eu)
- TH1: Theory of new nanosize phases (e.artacho@nanogune.eu)
- TH2: Theory of organic spintronics (e.artacho@nanogune.eu)
- STM1: Light emission from surfaces and molecules at the nanoscale (pascual@physik.fu-berlin.de)
- STM2: Measuring the force required to break a chemical bond (pascual@physik.fu-berlin.de)
Master students interested in these projects should send their academic record and CV to the scientist in charge (email associated to the corresponding project) and to director@nanogune.eu, before 30 September 2011.
