The nanomedicine group is being set up in 2024 by Dr. Mariana Medina-Sánchez, aiming at designing and developing microtools that interface biological samples at the cellular and molecular levels, for both fundamental studies and relevant healthcare applications. Such microtools range from medical microrobots to smart sensor-actuator systems.
