Proteinen indarra: biologia berri baterantz

17/09/2013
  • CIC nanoGUNEko Nanobiomekanika taldea duela 4.000 milioi urte baino gehiagoko proteina berpiztuen bilakaera ikertzen ari da
  • Indar mekanikoek minbizian, birus- eta bakterio infekzioetan, eta miokardioinfartuan inplikatutako proteinetan duten eragina aztertzen dihardu
  • Helburuetako bat da botika berriak garatzen lagundu dezakeen ezagutza berria eskaintzea

Lehio bat ikusezinari

24/07/2013
  • CIC nanoGUNEko Nanoimaging taldeak atomoak ikusteko eta manipulatzeko gai diren hiru mikroskopio berezi erakutsi ditu
  • Horietako batek, bakarra munduan, aukera ematen du ezaugarri elektronikoak, mekanikoak eta optikoak eskala atomikoan neurtzeko
  • Taldean egiten den ikerketaren helburua da etorkizuneko elektronikaren oinarriak finkatzea

2nd nanoIKER Workshop

10/06/2013

The 2nd nanoIKER Workshop took place at Tecnalia Headquarters in the Science & Technology Park of Bizkaia on June 10, 2013.

CIC nanoGUNEk Simune martxan jartzen du, enpresei zuzendutako eskala atomikorako simulazio zerbitzua

16/04/2013
  • Simunek enpresei arazo teknologikoak konpontzen lagunduko die denbora eta kostuak aurreztuz
  • nanoGUNEko Teoriako taldeak zerbitzuaren ardura izango du eta hasera batean energia eta elektronika sektoreetara zuzenduko da

Raul Perez-Jimenez, new nanoGUNE Nanobiomechanics Group Leader

21/03/2013

Starting on 1 February, Dr. Raul Perez-Jimenez, coming from Columbia University (USA), has taken on his new responsabilities as Ikerbasque Research Professor and Leader of the Nanobiomechanics Group at nanoGUNE.

Mato Knez: "Nanomaterials with practical applications in the Basque industry"

06/02/2013

[Published at www.nanobasque.eu] Technology has evolved so much recently that Basque consumers take for granted that within a few years they will be able to purchase televisions, tablets and computers with ultrafine flexible screens that will be able to be rolled up.

J.M. Pitarke: "Nanotechnology will give us more for less"

20/12/2012

[www.nanobasque.eu] José María Pitarke, Director General of CIC nanoGUNE, has turned the center he runs into a world reference in a very short time, with remarkable successes as the founding of Graphenea, one of the few companies worldwide capable of producing graphene. Pitarke says nanotechnology will help basque companies open new knowledge-intensive industrial sectors

Regenerative medicine is a common challenge

15/02/2012

NanoGUNE and Inbiomed have signed an agreement to promote synergies between regenerative medicine and nanotechnology in the area of tissue engineering. The first project has been already launched to face the challenge of growing neurons in vitro from stem cells. These neurons could offer a substantial improvement in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer or Parkinson.

II nanoBusiness Workshop: bridging the gap between Science and Industry

24/01/2012

Co-organized by ADEGI and nanoGUNE, and with the collaboration of the nanoBasque Agency, this workshop invites Basque companies to explore the opportunities offered by nanotechnology to increase their competitiveness. Four Basque companies – Graphenea, Maier, and GKN Driveline will participate in the workshop sharing the challenges they face to incorporate nanotechnology in their business.

Nano-Bio integration to improve the quality of eyesight

29/03/2010

nanoGUNE contributes with its nanotechnology expertise to the CENIT project ‘Customatized Eye Care (CeyeC)’. Granted by the Spanish Government, nanoGUNE has been collaborating since January 2010 with biocompanies in the development of new diagnostic tools for the pathologies of the eye surface, as an example of nanothecnology interdisciplinarity.
