Post-doctoral Researchers for MdM María de Maeztu 2020

The Nanoscience Cooperative Research Center CIC nanoGUNE, created with the mission of conducting world-class nanoscience research for the competitive growth of the Basque Country, member of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA), and recognized by the Spanish Research Agency as a "Maria de Maeztu" Excellence Unit (2022 - 2025), is currently looking for

 

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

 

to work each in one of the following interdisciplinary research topics:

  1. Magneto-optics in 2D heterostructures.
  2. Fabrication of magnetic alloy films and compositionally graded structures.
  3. Multi-scale spatial surface functionalization by picosecond laser pulses.
  4. Lab-on-tip: design and fabrication of beyond the state-of-the-art functional nanoprobes.
  5. Quantum magnetism in novel graphene nanostructures: theory and experiment.
  6. Addressing organic nanomagnetism with superconducting quantum circuits.
  7. Metamaterials for plasmon-enhanced energy conversion.
  8. Spin pumping in 2D and topological materials.

The positions are expected to start on or before 01/01/2023 and for a total length of up to 36 months. In the first instance, the contract will be funded by grant CEX2020-001038-M of the "Maria de Maeztu" 2020 call of the Spanish National Research Agency.
