PhD student position at Mondragon University in collaboration with CIC nanoGUNE

The University of Mondragon has a 3 years position for a PhD student for a project in collaboration with the Electron Microscopy Laboratory at CIC nanoGUNE.

The project consists in developing the conditions for optimizing the surface of machined parts. The successful candidate will use state-of-the-art concepts of machining and metal plasticity to engineer surface microstructures. The ideal candidate have a master degree (or equivalent) in technical-related studies. Motivation and self-leading are of great value and a high level of English is required.
The offer is listed as a FPI application, which can be fulfilled following the instructions.
