In the rapidly advancing field of medical microrobotics, the development of versatile robots is essential. Key capabilities include targeted cell transport, controlled release of drugs and nutrients, safe in-vivo imaging, and non-invasive microsurgery. Achieving these functions is challenging—especially when biocompatible and biodegradable materials are required. In this talk, I will present our approach to addressing these challenges and discuss its implications for the future of healthcare.
