NanoGUNE, located at the Ibaeta Campus of the UPV/EHU in Donostia – San Sebastián, offers PhD opportunities to graduates in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, and related areas to get their PhD degree.
NanoGUNE is searching for outstanding early-stage and junior researchers interested in applying for a research fellowship within the "La Caixa" funding programs. The JuniorLeader program call for postdoctoral researchers is now open, and the INPhINIT program call for predoctoral students will be open soon.
NanoGUNE´s new group, Nanoengineering Group, led by Ikerbasque Research Professor Dr. Andreas Seifert, focuses on research at the interface between fundamental nanoscience and applied engineering, in particular in the area of biomedical microsystems. The aim is to bridge the gap between physical sciences and industrial as well as clinical applications by introducing nanotechnology to finally gain added value for novel medical microsystems and mesoscopic devices.
NanoGUNE offers 4 scholarships to students of the Master in Nanoscience and the Master in New Materials of the UPV/EHU choosing Master thesis subjects within one of nanoGUNE's research groups.
